Skoda has refreshed its Scala model for 2025, offering a unique blend of hatchback and wagon styling with updated features and competitive pricing. This move aims to strengthen the Scala's position in the small car segment against rivals like the Toyota Corolla and Mazda3.
The Scala lineup has been renamed: Select (previously Ambition) and Monte Carlo (previously Signature). Select model price dropped to $32,490 drive-away, a $1500 reduction. Monte Carlo model priced at $43,990 drive-away, a $1500 increase. Restyled headlights, bumpers, and wheels across the range.
Select grade features 1.0L three-cylinder engine (85kW/200Nm). Monte Carlo grade powered by 1.5L four-cylinder engine (110kW/250Nm). Both variants use a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Standard features include LED lighting, digital instrument clusters, and smartphone integration. Monte Carlo adds matrix LED headlights, panoramic roof, and adaptive chassis control. Five-star ANCAP safety rating with modern safety features included.
