BYD has announced the Pre-Orders of the Sealion 6 Essential, which evidentially replaces the Dynamic model, and with the added benefit of it being $3,000 cheaper than the dynamic model, which is an added (but unsurprising) bonus considering the current EV Price Wars in the current market, whilst the automotive insiders patiently await news surrounding the whispers of potentially four new EV models entering the Australian Automotive market in the next 12-months.

It is expected that the pre-orders for the Sealion 6 will be a little less chaotic, considering the BYD Shark 6 delays due to industrial action at the ports, of which pre-orders for the Shark 6 have been delayed significantly in Sydney and Melbourne, with an added twist of Queensland that was first to receive their pre-ordered vehicles.
