The Dodge Charger is set to expand its reach beyond North America, with plans to sell the vehicle in Europe and the Middle East. This new generation Charger will be available in both electric and petrol-powered versions, offering a range of options for international markets.
- The Charger will be sold in Europe and the Middle East
- Both electric (Daytona) and petrol-powered (Hurricane inline-six) variants will be offered
- Australian availability remains uncertain
The electric Charger Daytona will come in two variants:
- R/T: 370kW/548Nm
- Scat Pack: 500kW/850Nm
The petrol-powered Charger will feature the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six engine, available in two output levels:
- Standard Output (S.O.): 313kW
- High Output (H.O.): 410kW
While the Charger's expansion into new markets is confirmed, its future in Australia remains unclear. Dodge and Chrysler brands are no longer officially available in the Australian market, which may complicate potential plans for local distribution.
The new Charger is scheduled to begin production in mid-2024 for the electric coupe, with the sedan and petrol-powered versions following in early 2025.
