A 19-year-old provisional license holder in New South Wales has landed herself in serious legal trouble after being caught speeding three times in a single day. According to police, the teen was driving a black Jaguar F-Pace and committed multiple high-speed offences across a four-hour period on Saturday, April 12.

The Timeline of Offences
- 10:40 AM: Police first detected the teenager on the Hume Highway, travelling more than 20km/h over the posted 110km/h limit. Despite being a P2 license holder, which restricts drivers to a maximum of 100km/h regardless of posted limits, she was only issued a speeding citation.
- 11:40 AM: Just one hour later, the same vehicle was clocked at 215km/h in the same 110km/h zone. At this point, her license was immediately suspended, the vehicle's plates were confiscated for three months, and she was ordered to appear in Gundagai Local Court. Charges included driving recklessly, dangerously, and exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
- 2:00 PM: Astonishingly, the teen was caught again at 201km/h in the same zone, while her license was already suspended and her number plates confiscated. She was arrested on the spot and transported to Albury Police Station.
The Charges Stack Up
In total, the teen now faces multiple charges including:
- Driving recklessly or at dangerous speed/manner
- Exceeding speed limit by more than 45km/h (as a P2 driver)
- Driving while license suspended
- Driving during a number-plate confiscation period
- Tampering with a number-plate confiscation notice
She has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Albury Local Court on April 30 and Gundagai Local Court on June 13.
Strict NSW Speeding Rules for Provisional Drivers
P2 drivers in NSW are subject to stringent speed restrictions, capped at 100km/h regardless of the zone. The state’s laws aim to curb reckless driving among less experienced motorists, and breaches often carry heavy fines, demerit points, and immediate suspensions.

A Serious Warning for Young Drivers
This incident highlights the severe consequences of high-speed driving, particularly for provisional license holders. With her license already suspended and criminal charges pending, the young driver now faces long-term repercussions, both legally and personally. Authorities are using this case as a reminder of the importance of obeying road rules—especially for young and inexperienced drivers.
Police urge all motorists, particularly P-plate drivers, to respect speed limits and understand that reckless behaviour will not be tolerated on NSW roads.
