Isuzu has unveiled a new 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine, dubbed the "MaxForce," for its popular D-Max ute and MU-X SUV. This engine promises improved efficiency, performance, and compliance with stricter emissions standards, marking a significant step forward for the brand.
The new 2.2-litre MaxForce engine is an upsized version of Isuzu's existing 1.9-litre diesel, delivering more power and torque while maintaining fuel efficiency. It will debut in Thailand on November 28, 2024, and is expected to replace the smaller engine in select markets while complementing the existing 3.0-litre option.
