Thousands of motorists across Sydney, particularly in Western Sydney, are taking advantage of the NSW Government’s $60 weekly toll cap. However, with over $140 million in rebates still unclaimed, many drivers may be leaving significant savings on the table.

Top Suburbs Benefiting from Toll Relief
Five suburbs have now joined the "$1 million club", meaning residents have claimed more than $1 million in toll relief:
- Blacktown – $1.25 million claimed
- Baulkham Hills – $1.23 million claimed
- Auburn – $1.06 million claimed
- Merrylands – $1 million claimed
- Marsden Park – $1 million claimed
Despite these high figures, many eligible motorists have yet to claim their rebates. The government has set aside $215 million for toll relief, but only $75 million has been claimed so far.
How Much Can You Claim?
Motorists who have successfully claimed toll relief have received an average rebate of $277, while some high-use drivers in key suburbs have received more than $500. The program allows drivers to claim up to $340 per week per vehicle after exceeding the $60 toll threshold.
Suburbs where the average claim exceeds $300 include:
- Auburn – $579 average claim
- Lakemba – $567 average claim
- Merrylands – $418 average claim
- Blacktown – $336 average claim
- Marsden Park – $379 average claim

Millions Still Unclaimed – Are You Missing Out?
While many drivers have successfully claimed their rebates, a significant portion remains unclaimed. For example:
- Marsden Park drivers are eligible for $3.1 million in toll relief, but only $1 million has been claimed so far.
- Greystanes drivers have access to $1.97 million, but only $660,000 has been claimed.
How to Claim Your Toll Relief
With the Q4 2024 claim period (Sept 30 – Dec 29) now open, an estimated 720,000 toll road users are eligible to receive refunds. However, only 276,000 claims have been processed so far.
