Motorists are being urged to plan ahead as major road closures are set to take place across Brisbane on Sunday, 13 April 2025 for the Tour de Brisbane cycling event.

The event, sponsored by Transurban, will see cyclists of all ages and abilities ride through Brisbane, raising funds for The Common Good, an initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation. To ensure the safety of riders and spectators, there will be widespread road closures and changed traffic conditions throughout the city.
The closures will be professionally managed by the Queensland Police Service and Altus Traffic Control.

- Legacy Way Tunnel: Full closure both directions, 4:30am to 12:30pm
- Inner City Bypass: Full closure both directions, 4:30am to 12:30pm
- Go Between Bridge: Full closure, 5:00am to 9:30am
- Clem7 Tunnel Ramps: Closures affecting access to the ICB
- Gateway Motorway and Southern Cross Way: Major sections closed from 5:30am to 12:00pm
Additionally, major city streets like William Street, Elizabeth Street, George Street, and Queen Street will be fully closed between 5:00am and 8:30am. Roads across suburbs like South Brisbane, Kangaroo Point, Hamilton, Toowong, and West End will also be impacted.
